● Led quality assurance projects for the Verizon Rapid Delivery (VRD) initiative, a new ordering process that covered 73.25% of all

Verizon orders, generating $1.1B in revenue in 2014. VRD allows customers to quickly create an opportunity, configure products and

services to their needs, create a quote with pricing as well as a contract, and create a bill once the order has been placed.

● Initially worked throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall methodology, and transitioned to Agile

(Scrum) methodology for recent projects.

● During test planning, planned business scenarios with IT PM, PMO, system developers, and users to create high level test cases based

on business requirements for each release and implementation. Planning test cases initially started in Excel and were later transferred to

SharePoint. After the test cases were finalized, created test case details in ALM which were run during test execution.

● During test execution, ran test scripts in ALM, recorded encountered defects, confirmed resolved defects before closing in ALM, and

created daily and weekly progress/defect reports.

● Worked with management to improve processes in order to work more efficiently. This enabled us to reduce test planning by 2 weeks,

allowing us more time for test execution.
