Dec 2008 - Feb 2009: Supervised and managed 27 contracted employees to accomplish goals and objectives in a timely, efficient and effective manner to decrease the existing Army Central Clearance Facility backlog. Under my leadership, the night shift had an extremely high production rate with assisting in decreasing the Army Central Clearance Facility backlog of some SSBIs cases but mostly derogatory NACLC/ANACI cases from SF86 form. On a nightly basis, I adjudicated 14 cases and maintained cognizance of quality and production of all employees and provided guidance and assistance with cases when needed. I had applied my working knowledge of Executive Orders 10450 and 12968 when adjudicating each case and making a recommendation whether to grant, suspend, revoke or deny a security clearance. Read and analyzed reports of adjudication to determine appropriate course for further processing; processed case file for return to the Defense Security Service (DSS) and forwarded in the next step in the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) review process.
