Objective:

Having worked for more than 15 years as a Math teacher at the secondary and post-secondary level, I am contemplating a career change and am looking for a challenging experience in a professional atmosphere, possibly in finance, analytics or information technology. I am a results-oriented person with a great deal of experience working with people of diverse backgrounds in a supervisory manner. In particular, as an educator I have had to work with individuals who are difficult to manage and lack motivation. I possess excellent analytical skills, and my undergraduate coursework was in Mechanical and Electrical engineering. Through many years of teaching I have developed expert-level presentation skills. I have extensive experience teaching Statistics and Financial Mathematics to college-level students. I am quite adept at the use of computers and other forms of technology, and I am fluent in Spanish as well as English.
