OBJECTIVE
Intern, Co-op, or full-time entry level engineer/researcher position with a commercial or professional company through relevant skills, prior engineering experiences, and knowledge of engineering principles
EDUCATION
The Ohio State University
B.S. in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering with Music/Astronomy Minors
Columbus, Ohio
Graduated May, 2014
Cumulative GPA: 3.15
ACADEMIC ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Robotics Course, January – May 2010
Autonomously controlled a small robot designed to lift switches, push certain buttons, and insert a propeller into a slot. Programmed using Interactive C
Served as team leader, main builder, co-programmer, and co-documenter
Experimental Projects, August 2013 – May 2014
Developed method for improving range on a spin-stabilized projectile through boattailing geometries. Modeled in SolidWorks and FLUENT. Micro-fabricated the geometries using Aluminum rods.
Served as team leader which entailed communicating responsibilities to the group and progress to the advisor. Project sponsored by Orbital Research

PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE
Interactive C- Used during the robotics course. Program entailed usage of user-made classes and premade functions for motor movement and sensor reading.
Autodesk/AutoCAD/SolidWorks- During robotics course and the Introductory AAE course Autodesk was used to map out designs and specifications. For the AAE course the program was used for designing a balsa wood glider and testing its center of balance and aerodynamic center. For the robotics course the program was used as a means of recording progress and keeping track of the design.
MATLAB/Mathematica- Used in various courses to solve complex mathematical problems, plot extrapolated data, and to diagram transfer functions using SIMULINK in MATLAB
FLUENT- For the Experimental projects, used to model the drag and lift effects of the projectiles using various stepped boattail geometries.
