Object

The main scope of this project is to Create the RTA’s for the Effective delivery from the Store locator to Customer.

Description

The main objective of this project is to create an up-to-date digitized dataset of PHI’s Restaurant Trade Areas (RTA). An RTA is large and needs to be broken down in smaller units for efficient delivery planning and intelligent dispatching user by PHI’s Point-of-Sale system. PHI accomplishes this task by dividing its RTA’s into smaller areas called POD’s. The POD’s are created based on driving distance, proximity and external geographic attributes such as railway lines, roads, rivers, lakes etc.

The current boundaries available for the RTA’s are inaccurate affecting operations effectiveness of delivery and carry-out orders. These issues are even more significant in new customer access modes such as on-line ordering and call canter applications. Incorrect routing of pizza orders could be due to incorrect RTA boundaries that are caused by gaps and overlaps in the current map database. In order to avoid such situations it is necessary to have seamless coverage created for the RTA’s.

In order to achieve such accurate and seamless coverage of PHI’s RTA and POD boundaries, PHI has asked RMSI to create an up-to-date digitized dataset of RTA’s and POD’s.

The main scope of this project is to Realigning the mains to update land base.

Description

This Project deals around 8 sub–projects such as Record updating, Abandonment, Header services, Service plotting, Project maintenance, Drafting, Centroid Placement and Re-digitization. Each sub Project will be having separate process and scope Which are included the Attribute updating such as lengths, status, association with other devices, Placements, Corrections And Re digitization of Gas features such as Pipes, Mains, etc

Re-aligning of gas main to the newly updated land base on atlas plates & Area wise. Open the allocated atlas plate in small world using EGD application menu. Upload the land-base to the allocated atlas plate using DGN some as per process document provided by EGD and verify the edge matching across the plates. Place a trail to the required offset and set the main to the trail location. Move the abandoned mains accordingly as per laids. Re-connect the nodes and other connected main as per previous data. Re-connect the services and fittings if any are connected properly to new mains. Adjust the existing dimensions to correctly point to the newly created main. Adjust the existing annotation leader to correctly point to the newly created mains. Commit changes made to the alternative. Run the EGD design check for the worked area to check the missing information and connectivity faults. Merge and post the data through commit.

AT&T (AMERICAN TELECOM & TELEGRAPH) - USA

Data given by the client PLR’s, Tiffs, DTL, UGM, CND and Tele Atlas Land base. We Migrate the Data ‘o’ Co-ordinates in to Original Co-ordinates with reference to the Tele Atlas Land base. As per input, later Migrate the data and merge the Cables PLR to PLR.

After production, the data is checked and error marked by the Q.C and the errors are fixed in editing. After completion of QC, the data is submitted to QA. Data is analyzed by QA with the help of QC TOOLS. Final output is sent to the client, in single mosaic telecom network data (.DWG File).

The main scope of this project is to create the road atlas.

Description

The purpose of the project is preparing Atlas by placing annotations i.e., names of transportation features, water features and landmarks and respective their names, which represents the location of different places like location of main cities, schools, churches etc. Initially client provided the shape files and old existing non geo-posed images. First we have to geo-reference the non geo-posed images with respect to the transportation and Hydro features using Arc Map. Next we have to convert the client supplied shape files into Micro station dgn files by using the customized tools. After that we have to create the new atlas according to the client specifications.

The main scope of this project is to capture the road network as per image perception.

Description

Street network data with reference to ortho rectified DIGIAIR images supplied by the client various street navigations. Basic criteria are to capture the transportation and hydro features. We digitized the topographic features like road network like freeways, highways, primary ways including rail and water on the geo position images. After completion of the digitization we assign the attributes like CFCC and ACC values. The final output to be delivered is topologically correct, seamless data in Arc Info 8.0.2 export format along with Queries in Arc View 3.1 shape format.
