Project Description:
Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited is a global pharmaceutical company and the second largest pharmaceutical company in Japan. It is the U.S. subsidiary of Daiichi Sankyo, Company, Limited and a member of the Daiichi Sankyo Group. The organization, which includes U.S. commercial operations and global clinical development (Daiichi Sankyo Pharma Development), is headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. The DSI have logical legacy source systems from which data is extracted and staged in to different staging tables. An Integrated view of data was needed, from where the analysis of data is done and reports are generated based on user’s requirement for decision-making purpose. The main objective of this project is to capture the customers’ data and reporting for bonds.
Responsibilities:
Understanding the Requirement Specifications.
Involved in the analysis of source to target mapping provided by data analysts and prepared function and technical design documents.
Created Informatica mappings to build business rules to load data.
Creating and importing source/target tables from respective databases
Created reusable transformations and mapplets and used them in mappings
Creating transformations like Router, Lookup, Expression, Joiner, Sequence generator and Update strategy
Creating source to target mappings and developing the ETL mappings using Informatica Power center
Monitoring the daily loads using workflow monitor

Mylan Inc. is a global generic and specialty pharmaceuticals company headquartered in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania. In 2007, Mylan acquired a controlling interest in India-based Matrix Laboratories Limited, a top producer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for generic drug and the generics business. Project consisted of data warehouse designed to provide the company with accurate, on-time information it needs to more effectively support the decision making process. Mylan has grown from the third-largest generic and pharmaceuticals company in the United States to the second-largest generic and specialty pharmaceuticals company in the world. Information is collected from various source system distributed across the all regions. The collected information is loaded into data warehouse. And this information can be load into the Data marts to generate the reports.
Responsibilities:
Creation modification and Maintenance of data base objects.
Development of Re-usable objects like General Procedures, Functions & Packages.
Interacting with SDM(Service Delivery Manager)/ clients to collect & Scope of business requirement for enhancements
Implementing new versions, Client customizations and documenting the release notes.

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is an American medical technology company that manufactures and sells medical devices, instrument systems and reagents. Founded in 1897 and headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The company's customers include healthcare institutions, science researchers, clinical laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry and the general public. BD was one of the first companies to sell U.S.-made glass syringes. The main objective of this project is to provide integrated information on health care Professionals and Organizations, which helps in the analyzing sales and purchase information at an aggregated level. The whole process has been automated and the entire extraction, transformation and loading process has been done with help of Informatica.
Responsibilities:
Extraction, Transformation and loading of data from Oracle sources into Target database.
Involved in designing the mappings between sources and targets and also tuned them for better performance.
Created and monitored the workflows using Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor and the log were studied to modify the mappings to obtain correct results from the Transformation.
Prepare the Test Cases and Performed Unit Testing for Developed Mappings.
Involved in Documentation of Mappings As per Standards.
