specifications, and evaluating contractors’ progress on each project. I worked
closely with the City in conducting on-site observations of the contractor’s work,

Luminaries Repairs for Miami-Dade Transit Rail System, Miami, FL. I was the
Project manager for the luminaries repairs project from the Allapattah station to the
Brickell Station from completion to closeout. Some luminaries were repaired, and
others were replaced (demounting and mounting at an average height of 12 feet),
depending upon the damage. After testing and inventory was conducted to evaluate
current conditions of the luminaries at each station, electric panels were upgraded,
new wiring was installed, and testing was conducted. I monitored and coordinated
with the Miami-Dade Transit rail system superintendent and also confirmed that
work was executed in accordance with Miami-Dade Transit requirements before
work started next to the tracks.
Federal Bureau of Prisons Facilities, Oakdale, LA and Big Spring, TX. I was the
Project manager responsible for managing and coordinating electrical upgrade work
that consisted of the removal of two existing generators and replacement with two
new units (1,000 kW and 700 kW). Work also included underground work from
opposite sides of the complex, redistribution and upgrading of existing panels,
installation of new panels in the modified generator room and in some of the
buildings, expansion of the generator room to meet new generator requirements,
and installation of new louvers. The project also included construction of a new 28-
inch reinforced concrete slab (1,000 kW), installation of new transfer switches and
new wiring. The facility in Big Spring, Texas required the removal of some highly
corroded light poles along with its foundations and installation of new 100-foot-high
poles inside the Big Spring Facility premises. Coordination with federal authorities
was required for both facilities.
Wyndham Hotel, Miami Beach, FL. I was the Project manager for the remodeling
and installation of a new electrical, data, and telecommunication system.
Wyndham Hotel at Miami International Airport, Miami, FL. I was the Project
manager for the remodeling of electrical and alarm system for the lobby,
mezzanine, and some of the floors.
Charles D. Wyche Elementary School, Miami Gardens, FL. I was the Project
manager for construction of the electrical, telecommunications, CCTV, and alarm
system for this new school facility.
Florida International University (FIU) Buildings, Miami, FL. I was the Project
manager for the construction of the electrical and fire alarm systems for FIU’s
Primera Casa. Mr. Lovera also managed the underground electrical work for FIU’s
modular buildings.
Coral Way Beautification Project, City of Miami, FL. I was the Project manager

installation of approximately 250 concrete bases, luminaries, and their routing to
several of the distribution centers installed. Wiring and testing of all fixtures installed

superintendent responsible for managing and directing the field operations for the
construction of the Old Spanish Village development, a new four-story building. I
was also responsible for supervising the roadway and right-of way improvements,
as well as water and sewer renovations for the project.
Construction/Remodeling for the Gamma Seafood Processing Plant and
Warehouse Facility, Town of Medley, FL. I was the Project superintendent for
managing and directing the field operations for the construction of a 10,000-square-
foot seafood processing plant and the remodeling of the warehouse facility. I was
also responsible for permitting and compliance with the Food and Drug
Administration, Fire Department, etc.
