AT&T – OSS PAL/IPSA Project

The following services are in scope for System Testing and User Acceptance Testing using PAL and IPSA:

1. AVPN: AT&T Virtual Private Network (AVPN) service is AT&T’s global flagship network based IP VPN Service enabled by the

largest MPLS backbone in the world. AVPN provides a comprehensive feature set for integrating customer locations quickly and easily

while providing unsurpassed application performance, enterprise security, and industry leading performance tools via the Business

Direct portal. AT&T’s global IP network, provided by the Common Backbone (CBB) in the US and the AT&T Global Network (AGN) in

MOW, uses MPLS Label forwarding to forward packets between Provider Edge Routers (PE).

2. MIS: AT&T Managed Internet Service (MIS) is a dedicated Internet access service that provides businesses with high speed

Internet access through communications facilities managed by AT&T.

3. MRS: Managed Router Service (MRS) Standard Service is a customizable WAN solution that can include the design,

implementation, operation and management of not only the core network, but also network routers, modems and other CPE.

As a Test Specialist (Manual Testing) for Waterfall Model and Agile Methodology Projects the responsibilities will cover the

following:

Unitech is a GSM based service provider in India who has issued an RFP for a solution that will scale to support a 25M

subscriber configuration over two years (10M/15M). The RCS solution for Unitech includes CAP2 Voice, CAP3 SMS, and Data

(Diameter Ro).

As a Team Member (with a team size of 5) was responsible for the follows –

• Requirement gathering, development and testing of drivers for automatic provisioning.

• Developed and Unit Testing of 3 ASAP cartridges (Telcordia Intelligent Network (IN SII Interface) Cartridge, Comviva Missed Call

Alert (MCA) Cartridge Comviva CRBT Cartridge and Comviva Voice Portal Cartridge in Loopback and Live mode.

• Support for all four cartridges.

• Responsible for troubleshooting any problem with ASAP application.

Telcel LBS Cartridge Development Project March 2009 – June 2009

management in MW, for billing in MW (select subscriber type, region), for statistics in MW.

• Requirement gathering, development and testing of drivers for automatic provisioning.

Bell Canada NSN MSC Network Mediation Project December 2008 – February 2009

This project is to provide Network Mediation of Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) MSC usage data for Bell Canada. This will be a

joint project between Bell Canada, CGI and Oracle Corporation. Oracle is currently responsible to provide the Network

Mediation (NM) Collection Cartridge (CC) and Enhancement Processor Cartridge (EP) of this overall solution.

As a Team Member (with a team size of 2) was responsible for the follows –

• Requirements gathering from the Onsite Team for Network Mediation Cartridges.

• Developed and Tested 3 Network Mediation cartridges (MSC Collection Cartridge, SGSN Enhancement Processor and GGSN

Enhancement Processor) and solutions.

• Support for all three cartridges.

• End to End Testing of the Application.

BRM – Telecom Personal Project October 2008 – December 2008

Telecom Personal is a Telecommunications company that provides mobile telephony (voice and data) services in Argentina. At present,

Telecom Personal serves customers throughout Argentina. Most of these customers are post paid accounts. The following value added

services will be covered by the Oracle BRM solution: 1) SMS 2) MMS 3) GPRS 4) BB (BlackBerry). The implementation of Oracle BRM

Vodacom Business’ VPN offering is delivered through an MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) platform.

MTNL Broadband Project

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) proposes to provide Broadband services like reliable high speed Internet connectivity and

other value added services such as VPN, Video Multicast, Video on Demand, etc. to customers over DSL lines. MetaSolv understands that

MTNL want to provide the following Data services on the Broadband Remote Access network:

• Basic Internet access services

• Video On Demand Services

• Virtual Private Network Services

• Multicast Services

To provide these services, MTNL will require a tool that will be able to configure their network devices in the Broadband Remote Access

network. This will include BRAS, DSLAMS and LAN Switches. To provide the authentication and additional services, you will also need to

use Radius and an LDAP server. These servers will also need to be configured. This project aims at providing Broadband services to the

MTNL end users using DSL lines. In this project various products are used like PEM, IPSE, PORTAL, OCA, ASAP. This is basically a

Provisioning System.

As a Team Member (with a team size of 5) was responsible for the follows –

• Provisioning and Grooming.

• Requirement gathering and analysis.

• Installation of Sun Solaris, Oracle, Bea Web logic and ASAP.

• Cartridge Development between ASAP and Different Network Elements like PEM, SDX, PORTAL INFRANET.

• Make the Connection between OMS and ASAP and sent the work orders from OMS in XML.

• Developed Provisioning functions that are being invoked by the ASAP to send the provisioning commands at different Network
