PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

RIVER MANOR CARE CENTER FOR NURSING AND REHABILITATION 2011 to the present.

I am the unit manager / nursing supervisor for this 57 bed unit. I am involved in the discharged planning of all the residents that reside here while they are receiving PT/OT/Speech therapy, attending care plan meetings on a weekly basis and also running the weekly MDS meetings and collaborating with the entire team to decide the best plan of care for each and every resident on this short term rehabilitation unit. I am also highly involved in the inservicing process of the LPN”s and the C.N.A.”s.
