CAREER OBJECTIVE:

To provide quality care to the patients and to upgrade optometry profession

in India by putting my best efforts.

PRESENT STATUS:

Working as 'Faculty - Optometrist' with special interest in low vision and

Instrumentation with 'Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital' since October 1999

till date.

Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), 75 years old Eye and ENT hospital

in New Delhi. The hospital has all modern ophthalmic equipments sourced

from around the world. SCEH is having separate specialty clinics, Vision

Enhancement Center, Pediatric Department, Vision Therapy Clinic, Contact

Lens Clinic, Cornea, Glaucoma & Retina clinics.

Vision Enhancement Center - Functioning as a " Incharge Of Vision

Enhancement Center", had Started the Vision Enhancement Center in 2001 and

since then working with visualy impaired vision individuals. It is a fully

equipped low vision clinic with all types of Optical, Non Optical and

Electronic Devices.

1 MY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Low Vision Specialist

Vision enhancement center- the clinic runs full week and lot of

individulas after the identifying their needs and specific goals, servives

and trainings provided .

(b) As A Clinical Incharge of Training Programme

Fellowship in optometry- At SCEH we are having two years / fifteen months

Fellowship Program for Optometrists who have done Diploma or Degree in

Optometry, As a Faculty Optometrist, I am teaching low vision,

Instrumentation optics & refraction to the students.

. All India Contact Lens Educators Programme: Short term contact lens

teaching session to the opticians /optometrists and presented various

lectures and demonstration.

.Low Vision / Low vision Awareness: Programme for general practitioners and

volunteers working for National for blind people (NAB) & other NGOs India.
