Sterling and Wilson ltd. Is a sub group of ShapoorjiPallonji Group .Till

1997 the company was mainly focused on the Mumbai and Delhi markets

providing services for the entire HV (High Voltage) & LV (Low Voltage)

Electrical Systems. Sterling & Wilson started its own EPC Division in 2008,

giving a turnkey solution for cross section of Industrial sectors like

aluminum, copper, steel, paper, chemical & petrochemical, material handling

projects, E.B.O.P. of power plants, Indian railways feeding substation and

substations up to 400 kv providing high end project management services,

professional installation & commissioning

Responsibilities in the current job:

. Support new product development and product improvement projects as

part of a multidisciplinary team.

. This includes all aspects of the projects including design, analysis

and all aspects of project engineering work.

. Work with cross functional groups as well as effectively support other

engineers and detailers in order to complete projects on time and

within schedule.

. Interface with manufacturing, technical service, quality, customers,

and other departments in order to research problems and identify

solutions related to the design of components and system.

Projects Done:

PROJECT-1

. Design of SCADA, PLC systems and site management of biotech lab in

SIEMENS info systems Ltd (Bangalore).

. Design of electrical layouts for many projects like HCL, Flipkart,

Forum mall Mangalore etc.

. Also doing the handing over documents of these projects.

Academic Project:

. Minimum power processing stage fuel cell energy system based on a

boost inverter.

. Replaces the conventional inverter topology (i.e. both boosting stage

and inverting stage) by a single stage boost inverter topology.

. Increases the efficiency, reduces cost and size by reducing the number

of components used in normal inverter.

. Incorporates the use of an eco-friendly and renewable resource

(e.g. fuel cells, solar power etc.).
