Responsibilities:

. Verifying latest Revision of approved Drawing before initializing

project.

. Preparation of Inspection and test plan (ITP), Quality Assurance

Plans(Q.A.P)

. Proper implementation & preparation of WPS & PQR before/during and

after welding.

. Witnessing & qualifying welders as per approved WPS.

. Preparation of welders' qualification test records. Verifying that

welding machines, tools, ovens, & quivers are in safe / recommended

conditions.

. Checking joint fit ups to rectify any mismatch, Daily production

welding joint inspection.

. Witnessing & coordinating NDT (LPT, MPT, UT, and RT) as per Project

Specifications.

. Preparation of corresponding Documents & Reports stage wise as per

project specification.

. Coordination with Clients, Third Party Inspector.

. Witness Pneumatic Testing on pipelines.

. Review of PWHT Charts Loading Temperature, Rate of Heating, Rate of

Cooling, Soaking Time, and Soaking Temperature as per the

requirements of approved procedure/as per specification..

. Following the Procedures, Drawings & inspecting them to meet the

drawing requirements and to coordinating with external QA/QC and

Third-Party inspectors at each stage from Material Identification

till Final Inspection and Dispatch in accordance with QAP.

. Material verification like paint/grit with respect to Batch

numbers, expiry and MSDS..

. Conduct Painter/Blaster Qualification test as per project

requirements.

. Blasting, Painting/Coating Inspection which includes Humidity

Check, Blasting Profile Check, Surface contamination tests, Dry&Wet

Film thickness check, Holiday Pinhole detection checks.

. Closely monitor the blasters and painters during execution and

ensuring that the specification requirement is achieved.

. Co-ordinate with client,TPI for the day to day painting/coating

inspection activities.

. Daily inspection reports generation and documentation for

Coating/Painting activities.

. Familiar with Coating systems related to Oil & Gas.

. Prevent painting activities to be carried out during adverse

weather conditions.

. Familiar with international codes & standards related to

Painting/Coating industry.
