Employment History

STOEL RIVES LLP - Portland, OR - 3/22/99-4/27/12

IPC (Information Processing Center) Software Specialist (5/15/99-

4/27/12; IPC Technician prior)

As sole IPC Software Specialist in a firm of 900+ employees, managed

several major responsibilities in addition to assisting with IPC's

daily workload of job requests from attorneys and staff implementing

the above listed software. Tasked with problem documents forwarded by

IPC coworkers and IT Help Desk that they could not resolve. Was solely

responsible for firm-wide template design using both Legal MacPac

administrative-level tools and self-taught VBA for Word and Excel

including pleadings for almost 100 jurisdictions. Also used VBA to

design several firm-wide macros such as Excel Print Setup, Word

Document Cleaners, and Workshare Compare Reversal. Over thirteen years,

wrote hundreds of educational emails that were stored in categorized

Outlook Public Folders, articles for the IT monthly newsletter, and

instructional guides for IPC's unique hardware and software needs such

as digital transcription and OCR software. When IPC was presented with

out-of-the-ordinary work requests, often researched the Internet to

locate, install, and test special freeware and/or compose VBA macros to

automate repetitive, time-consuming tasks. Received dozens of employee-

to-employee "Above & Beyond" awards for exemplary service.
