variety of construction project from new ground-up facilities, oil and gas pipelines, mining operations,

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Regional Estimator –Willbros Construction (U.S.) LLC December 2013-Present

Individually responsible for the estimating of both facility and pipeline oil and gas projects for four

separate offices. Estimating multi-million dollar projects in excess of eighty million dollars with an award

rate over 35% of the total value estimated. I am responsible for producing take offs for both mechanical

and structural scopes of work, as well as coordinating with E & I subcontractors. In addition to generating

all estimates for the region, I serve as the point of contact in all Company/Contractor communications

through the bidding phase and conduct all bid walks. Utilize Hard Dollar Project Estimating and have

executed numerous international corporate presentations and project reviews.

Key Highlights

*Tesoro Connelly Gathering System, Dunn County, North Dakota: Provided a detailed, multi-phase

estimate for this two year project. Was responsible for hosting a corporate review with both our regional

office and Canadian managers, as well as serving a pivotal role in the contract negotiation and

development of the final scope. Project had a sell price in excess of forty million dollars.

Senior Estimator- Irwin Industries April 2013-December 2013

Was responsible for generating estimates for numerous Power Plant construction projects. Work included

all installation, repair, and maintenance services to mechanical equipment including boilers, pressure

vessels, evaporators, digesters, and bag houses amongst others. Coordinated with other Sub Contractors

from various disciplines to develop the most cost-effective strategies for approaching projects. Utilized

my previous experiences to ensure all phases and demands of the project are considered including cost,

labor, materials, duration, and contract obligations to produce the most accurate estimates.

* TEP Solar Plant Tie-In: Was responsible for producing a detailed, all inclusive estimate for this large

scale project. I utilized my organizational abilities and project management knowledge to forecast the

entire process of tying new construction into an existing facility and the obstacles such a project offers.

Senior Estimator-Legacy Mechanical Industrial Division 2012-2013

Provided estimates for installation, repair, and maintenance services for mechanical equipment such as

boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, evaporators, digesters, and bag houses amongst others. Provided detailed

take-offs with labor & material pricing entries and extensions. Work with other discipline estimators to

develop scope of work and costs affecting multi-discipline estimates. Maintaining active communication

with all tendering authorities, including owners, architects, and engineers. Maintain relationships with

existing clients and seek new opportunities. Provided senior project management handling budgets, client

relations, and project control. Maintain an overall safe environment on the project site through constant

vigilance. Create a time schedule, keeping budgetary records and improving them.

Key Highlights

* Pawnee Power Plant Bag House Reinforcement, Brush, Colorado : Introduced Legacy Mechanical to

Xcel Energy. As the Chief Estimator, I created the estimate and proposed scope letter to Xcel Energy for

the above project. LMI was awarded the project, which consisted of new structural steel in the existing

bag house, In order for larger intake fans to be installed. The bag house required added reinforcement to

handle additional air volume. This project presented very technical rigging because of the tight quarters of

the existing power plant and equipment.

* Miller Coors Kiln 10, Golden, Colorado: Provided detailed take-offs with labor & material pricing for

the structural steel, equipment setting and steam piping for the new Kiln. Develop bid strategies and close

Industrial mechanical estimates. Project was awarded to LMI as the General Contractor. This project

involved receiving estimates from other disciplines’, such as concrete and structural steel.

Estimator -Precision Industrial Contractors 2008-2012

Provided estimates for installation, repair, maintenance services for mechanical equipment such as

boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, evaporators, digesters, bag houses etc. Provided detailed take-offs with

labor & material pricing entries and extensions. I worked to develop bids or help the company control

costs by reviewing the budgets of projects. I would take the number of workers involved in a project,

necessary supplies, time, cost of transportation and fluctuating market prices into account whenever they

are projecting a budget. I would also study current projects and products that a company has in play to see

if they are making the company a profit or if the company needs to alter its business strategy. I would

evaluate subcontractor bids.

Key Highlights

* Miller Coors Kiln 9 Reinforcement, Golden, Colorado: Provided detailed take-offs with labor &

material pricing. The existing kiln needed to be reinforced for future expansion to accept another kiln on

top of it. All the concrete pillars had to be reinforced with heavy structural steel beams. Gusset plates had

to be welded the full length of the beams. The area of installation was very tight and confining.

* Miller Coors Boiler Refurbish, Golden, Colorado: Provided detailed take-offs with labor & material

pricing for boiler repair. This was an emergency project that needed to be completed in 4 days. In the

middle of winter, the boiler tube started leaking and needed repaired immediately. All the boiler tubes had

to be replaced and we repaired the damage to the re-factory caused by the leaks.

General Manager -D&A Enterprises, LLC 2002–2008

I was responsible for operation maintenance and erection commissioning. Project planning management

and material management. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Strong

understanding of all structural steel components as it applies to shop fabrication & site erection,

installation, connection. Structural & architectural drawings for the purpose of estimating and pricing and

submitting a quote to General Contractors for structural steel design, fabrication, supply & installation

including; anchor bolts, embeds, bollards, columns, beams, braces, O.W.S joists, steel decking, steel

stairs, railings, guard rails. Others include RTU frames, ladders, gate enclosures & other miscellaneous

metals as required by job.

Key Highlights

* DaVita Center, Burlington, CO: Managed all aspects of the project in addition making sure of a

successful completion. Supplied and installed structural steel for new ten thousand square foot building.

Which included all miscellaneous metals such as canopies, hand rails etc.

* Windsor Assembly of God, Windsor, CO: Managed all aspects of the project in addition making sure of

a successful completion. Supplied and installed structural steel for new eight thousand square foot

building. Which included all miscellaneous metals such as canopies, hand rails etc.

Project Manager/Superintendent- CRC Industrial, Inc. 1997-2002

Oversee installation, repair, maintenance services for mechanical equipment such as boilers, pressure

vessels, tanks, evaporators, digesters, bag houses etc. Ensure project health, safety and environmental

standards meet or exceed legislated requirements & company policy. Work closely with team members to

identify, develop, implement, and support project delivery. Mitigate potential cost overruns and provide

accurate revenue forecasts. Travel to jobsite to oversee craft labor is installing or repairing mechanical

equipment properly. This includes giving direct supervision to lead craftsman on site.

Key Highlights

* Great Western Sugar, Fort Morgan, CO: Managed all aspects of the project in addition making sure of a

successful completion. Re-tubed D type boiler, repaired cracks in steam drum and lower water drum. All

work was done in accordance of the ASME Boiler Code.

* Pueblo Power Plant, Pueblo, CO: Managed all aspects of the project in addition making sure of a

successful completion. Repaired leaking boiler tubes by removing corroded area and installing new

window patches. Project was completed in a 15-day outage.
