EMPLOYMENT 2012 to present, I’m employed by Sears Holding Company as a Assistant Auto Center Manager, where I managed

personnel on both the sales floor and back shop, coaching both on how to meet our sales goals, preserve the Brand and please the

customers. Making sure the back shop and sales floor is running smoothly, safely, and producing quality results. I also track

inventory, manage costs, interview new hires, trouble shoot difficult repairs and help with customer service issues.

2009 to 2012 I was self employed at Roadside Auto & Truck where we worked on all types of cars, trucks, and equipment such as

bull dozers, backhoes, trailers, dumpers & can use automotive pipe benders

2007 to 2009 I worked at Harley Marine Service New York where I worked as a Deckhand and Engineer responsible for keeping the

various Tug Boat systems up and running safely and efficiency, including. electrical, mechanical, propulsion, hydraulics, potable

and waste water systems.

1993 to 2007 I was self employed At Roadside Auto and Truck where I built the shop, stocked it licensed it with the State as a NYS

Inspection Station, NYS Registered Repair Facility and NYS Used Car Dealers License. I received my State Certifications in

Emissions Controls, Electronic Fuel Injection and Engine Controls. I ran a AAA Club Station and did towing and road service. I

have a NYS inspection licensed, my drivers license is a class C with a Towing Endorsement. I can weld, braze, read prints and

fabricate from them in the most cost effective manner. I can operate many types of equipment from Fork Lifts to loaders to pipe

benders and threading equipment.

1980 to 1993 I worked in my families business Bensons Truck Bodies where I built new van bodies and refurbish used and wrecked

bodies to look like new. I can read Blue Prints and Fabricate from them in a cost effective manner. I took great care not to waste

materials and manage our human resources for the maximum profit in the safest manner.

refurbished used and wrecked bodies to look new. I can paint and do auto & truck body repairs. I can operate pipe threading

equipment, weld and braze, I can also redesign failed medal components to make them perform better. Bend custom exhaust with

pipe benders

Maintained and managed our own rental properties for 20 years(framing, building, sheet rock plumbing renovations, etc.)
