As a correctional officer, I was in charge of maintaining a dormitory unit
of up to 220 inmates. I ensured all the rules were being followed by the
inmate population and answer any questions that they may have. It was my
job to report any and all misconduct, as well as to use my good judgment to
decide if any disciplinary action needs to be taken. I would maintain
accountability for the inmates, make sure they were following our safety
guidelines, and maintain a clean environment.
Field Systems Technician

As a Field Technician, my job is to manage all H & R Block locations. I
make sure all HR stores have internet capability, test their phone lines,
set up fax machines, and set up the printers to their designated
workstation. Besides managing the store, I keep an inventory of all our
technical equipment and make sure everything is located at our storage
facility. I order new equipment as needed and send any defective technical
equipment to get repaired.
