. ETL Database developer/DBA (Python, C#/VB.NET, MySQL, SQL Server) for
Market Maker over Multi-asset and Fixed Income classes typically related
to securities class action settlements for clients consisting of
brokerage houses, hedge funds, investment advisors, banks/bank trusts,
high net worth individuals, family/state pension plans and insurance
companies.
. Created basic web interface in SSRS (VS2008) which matched customers'
securities holdings in litigation against the case files to compute due
settlements. The application queried the customers' positions in the
affected asset class and presented eligible amounts for settlement in an
Excel report.
. Designed/Built several VBA apps to automate many procedures to process
mark-to-markets and various data scrubbers
Built Python, MySQL, VB/C#.NET and SSIS/SSRS (VS2005) applications that
moved data back-forth between unlike repositories. Python portion
scrubbed unstructured data, read flat transaction file containing
financial adjustments to customer positions. The adjustment amounts were
matched against the key fields for the appropriate customers that existed
in MySQL tables. The updated tables were migrated to SQL Server to
better bind with SSIS and SSRS.
