Course Projects

Application of Data Mining in Product Design for Assembly (July 2013-July 2014)

Guide: Dr. C.S.P Rao, Production Section, NIT Warangal.

The project aim is to mine the CAD data with the aid of data mining tools in order to

find the subassemblies in the CAD assembly and therefore reduce the assembly time.

Focused on use of Solid Works to build Cad models and Tanagra (data mining tool) to

detect the subassemblies for the CAD assembly.

Design & Fabrication of Drying Equipment (June 2009-June

2010)

Guide: Sri. B.Veera Kumar Associate Professor M.V.S.R Engineering College,

Hyderabad.

The project aim was to estimate the drying time by varying the process parameters.

Focused on designing the dryer, heating equipment and the entire set up.

SOMA Enterprise Ltd. Hyderabad Engineer & ERP Application analyst March

2011 to July 2012

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for Heavy Machinery Scheduled Maintenance and repairs (Dozers,

Excavators, Graders, Loaders, Generators, etc.)

Preparation of Management Information System Report (MIS) & submit to the

management.

Seek quotation from various vendors for the Spare Parts required at different central

Workshops. Choose the best quotation on the basis of price and Payment terms and

place the Purchase Orders.

Preparation of periodic Maintenance Schedule Charts of Plant & Machineries as per

OEM.

Dealing with all sites for the transfer & receipt of plant and Machineries and

maintain their history and deploy the machinery to respected site.

Build CAD Models in Auto Cad, Pro-E.

Participating in implementing & integrating PNM module with other modules i.e.

Purchase & Execution.

Provide Training on ERP modules for the end user and prepare end user training

material.

Interact with core team members, end users & other team members.

Analysis of the data that has been entered by the end user and then check for the

flaws.

Co - Curricular Activities

Volunteered for Technical (Technozion) and Cultural (Spring Spree) fests organised by

NIT Warangal.

Won 1st Prize in weight lifting competition (60kgs) at Intra College Competition NIT
