EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVE: Securing position in area of hydrocarbon exploration and production or hydrology in

the oil and gas sector, where I can utilize my industry experience, educational background and analytical skills for contributing

to the success of my employer.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

GARDLINE SURVEYS, INC. Geophysical Interpreter October 2013-January 2015

3D Seismic Data Mapping: Mapped horizons using Kingdom software, distinguishing the various units

within the study area.

Amplitude Extractions: Evaluated high amplitudes extracted within each unit to observe where possible

shallow hazards may occur.

3D Seismic Data Analysis: Cut data samples showing general stratigraphy of the study area, any seabed

features portrayed, and gas hazards within each unit.

3D Seismic Data Regional Text: Produced a detailed text for each client, compiling a complete analysis on

the study area.

Regional Geology: Generated comprehensive reports of the offshore study area being interpreted for shallow

hazards. Reports entail extensive research and knowledge on the study area encompassing geology from Precambrian

to Cenozoic Eras.

Well Clearance Letters: Inline, cross-line, and THP figures are cut and compiled, portraying stratigraphy

and lithology in the immediate proximity to proposed well location. Shallow hazards at the seabed and along the

borehole length are established. Detailed text is written for the client, specifying location and depth of all possible

hazards, and if any problems drilling a well at the proposed coordinates should be anticipated.

EDUCATION:

University of Houston (main campus) Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude August, 2012

Dean’s List Fall - 2009 thru Spring -2012

Major: Earth Sciences

Minor: Biology

Cumulative GPA: 3.6/4.0

RELEVANT COURSES/PROJECTS:

Fields Methods

Inks Lake Mapping Project

Produced geologic map of Devil’s Waterhole area. Using a contour map and a Brunton compass,

recorded strike/dip of exposed rock and mapped out the precise location of contact points in order to

differentiate the rock units. Geological features were noted in field books and drawn on the map

with appropriate symbols. Such features included attitudes of foliation, dikes, and joints, and

trend/plunge of small-scale fold hinges.

Field Camp at Big Bend National Park

Mapped out complex area given a contour map and Brunton compass. Recorded strike/dip at

varying locations to demonstrate regional topography. Rock units present were differentiated by

precisely mapping contact lines. Any other geological features that were present such as dikes, sills,

faults, folds, landslides were noted and sketched in field book and plotted on the map using

appropriate symbols. After field camp, final report was generated, including the regional map and

East-West cross section.

Mineralogy

Course Agenda

Mineral classifications, familiarity with mineral properties, optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction,

crystallography and atomic structures.

Petrography

Final Course Report

Study assigned thin section (Silicious Oolite) and prepare report. Report was composed of an

abstract and complete thin section analysis. It included: identifier, general description, mineral

modes, mineral description (grain size, textures, microstructures, optical properties, inclusions,

alteration, compositional information, etc.)
