Professional Experience- United states Air Force Officer - Major

Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Course Director, School of

Systems and Logistics, Wright Patterson AFB, 2012 to present

. Currently lead 3 instructors providing Professional Continuing Education

for logistics professionals focusing on life cycle logistics and regional

sustainment concepts. Responsibilities include course development,

instruction, scheduling and management of 6 courses.

. Train and Mentor new instructors at AFIT/Defense Institute and

Security Assistance Management; Air Force and Department of Defense-

wide impact, education and training provided to US Central Command,

Department of State, Office Secretary of Defense, and Joint Staff.

. Instrumental in developing 24 courses to achieve Air Force vision of

affordable just-in-time blended learning for senior officers

transitioning to staff positions.

. Spearheaded streamlining Log 299 Combat Logistics Course from 7 days

2008

. Commanded a Squadron consisting of 150 officer and enlisted

personnel supporting 35 aircraft and 15 units for all supply and

logistics functions. Supervised construction of a $1.45 Million

fuel storage and offload facility with a 4.2 million gallon

capacity.

. Simultaneously led three departments of 145 total personnel through

an operational and functional logistics reorganization. Mentored

subsequent managers to facilitate restructuring at other locations

based upon previous proven successes.

. Managed $100K budget for all transportation services provided to

base units: ground passenger movement, supply chain management,

aircrew support, transportation and vehicle licensing; moved 8600

passengers and 2.3 million pounds of cargo over 59K miles.

. Planned and directed all readiness activities for 4100 deployable

personnel and 2400 short tons of cargo from 25 units that support 21

B-2 aircraft and 20 A-10 Aircraft, executed 5 deployment exercises,

validated B-2 expeditionary concept for first deployment of the B-2.

. Oversaw vehicle operating procedures, repair techniques, and ensured over

2000 personal property shipments were accomplished. Ensured effective

use of personnel, space, equipment and materials; directed compliance

with prescribed standards of quality, safety and environment, while

maintaining a 96% vehicle in-commission rate on aging vehicle fleet.
