DCoE Psychological Health Gap Scan Refresh Report
The Gap Scan Refresh project sought to update a database for the DCoE
Clinical Standards of Care Directorate.
Responsibilities included:
. Executed a systematic research approach to identify new and/or updated
clinical practice guidelines and clinical support tools, including
literature reviews and SME interviews;
. Drafted a report of key finding and recommendations;
. Provided project management oversight including scope definition,
staffing resources, tracking deliverables and achieving milestones.
DCoE Well-Being/Suicide Risk and Prevention Literature Review
Literature review examining the theoretical and empirical relationship
between well-being and suicide risk and suicide prevention.
Responsibilities included:
. Identified pertinent theoretical and empirical articles;
. Co-authored report and provided key findings and recommendations to
senior DCoE leadership.
DoD Task Force on the Prevention of Suicide by Members of the Armed Forces
A Congressionally-mandated task force designed to identify matters related
to suicide prevention in the military.
Responsibilities included:
. Provided leadership and subject matter expertise on military mental
health and suicide prevention;
. Managed and facilitated group discussions with military mental health
consumers, providers, family members and additional related groups
involved in suicide prevention
. Co-authored and managed report writing;
. Final report was a set of key findings and recommendations to the
Secretary of Defense regarding the military's suicide and suicide
prevention policy and practices.
