FAWN DE MEXICO, Chihuahua, Mexico January 2004 to April 2011

Vice President of Mexico Operations:

• Rehired with former employer to turn around this underperforming production plant by expanding the facility to

provide more comprehensive services.

• Coordinated the integration and relocation of equipment from the North Carolina location to Fawn De Mexico.

• Managed a 3-shift operation with 150 employees and annual sales of $18 million.

• Served as a primary point of contact for clients that included Visteon, Jabil, Preh, TRW, Continental, and Emerson.

• Initiated injection molding operation of 28 machines (22 ton to 650 ton).

• Enhanced secondary operation capabilities by adding new equipment.

DENTEK, Maryville, TN 2000 to 2003

Plant Manager:

• Retained by Dentek to oversee start-up of the Maryville operations following their purchase of the Fawn Industries

facility for this dental product packaging and distribution facility.

• Directed facility expansion and construction, hired, trained, and developed the management team and

packaging/distribution associates.

FAWN INDUSTRIES, Multiple Locations 1977 to 2000

Plant Manager (1994 to 2000):

• Promoted nine times into progressively responsible leadership roles throughout career with this $55 million

manufacturer specializing in precision injected molded plastics products for decorative automotive,

telecommunications, business equipment, and consumer electronics applications.

• Promoted to Plant Manager and transferred to Maryville, TN to oversee complete ground-up construction, start-up,

management, and new business development for the state-of-the-art 32,000 sq. ft. Maryville manufacturing facility (80

employees) that was ranked in the top 3 of 700 manufacturing facilities nationwide in a competitiveness review by the

Tennessee Manufacturing Partnership.

• Upon completion of the project and successful start-up was given additional responsibility as the V.P. of Plastics

(1998) for the 70,000 sq. ft. Middlesex, NC plant while continuing as Plant Manager for Maryville operations.

• As Plant Manager for the Maryville, TN plant:

- generated 20% profit and $1.3M sales increase in first 6 months (company had projected a 2.3% operating loss)

- exceeded 1999 profit projections by $468K, a 138% increase over initial projections

- achieved a 20.4% profit margin (1998), which exceeded profit projections by 47%

- exceeded 1997 profit projections by 56% and 1996 profit projections by 48%

- implemented quality initiatives that reduced PPM to averaging less than 18 per month

• Improved production quality by facilitating the company's achievement of ISO-9002 and QS-9000 certifications as

well as receiving Q1 Preferred Quality Supplier status with Ford Motor Company; managed the Steering Committee

that implemented the QS-9000 program throughout four of the company's facilities.

• Served as Project Manager on a major consolidation of 2 NC plants into a single facility that involved:

- overseeing construction for facility expansion to accommodate the consolidation

- coordinating the start-up of a new off-site warehouse for additional materials storage

• Directed the implementation of the plant's MRP II (materials resource planning) system.

• Promoted through the following positions: Materials Handler, Quality Control Auditor, Production Control

Coordinator, Decorating Manager, Production and Purchasing Manager, Plant Superintendent, Assistant Plant
