• Part of the MPLS/VPLS team in the Routing Protocol Daemon(RPD) Group in

J uniper Networks.

T his project has been divided into many phases. I worked on EVPN basic functionality

p hase and am now working on EVPN Mul tihoming Active/Standby phase.

• EVPN Basic functionality

• Added CLI and show commands related to this area.

• Implemented catastrophic changes for the EVPN area.

• Modified evpn code to use an existing hash library in rpd instead of using

local hash files

• Solved blocker and critical issues related to EVPN area.

• Unit tested all the pieces of code implemented by me by creating automated

scripts.

• EVPN_MultiHoming_Active-Standby functionality

Based on the base EVPN functionality, this phase added the EVPN multi-homing

single-active support. This was a cross geographical project which was handled by

me and my colleague in Sunnyvale under a team lead who was located at Westford.

T he work done by me included:

• Significant contributions to functional specifications and design

specifications documents for the same.

• Implementation of most of the features of this project in a time bound

m anner.

• Unit-testing of the code wri t ten by me with the help of automated

scripts which were also created by me.

• Participation in integration of various modules.

• Addresssing code-review comments.

• Fur ther providing support during functional testing of the code.

• Implemented an online dictionary in JAVA to read words in three languages.

• The dictionary displayed the word in English, H indi and Punjabi, displayed the

usage of words, meaning and the grammatical att r ibutes of the word.

• The dictionary was made using JFrame and servlets and implemented the

f unctionality to access words from a file and also to manipulate the words if required

and store them on the same file.
