Responsibilities

Immediate attention to patient care and the maintenance of their accounts

to include scheduling of initial consultation, detailed and accurate

coordination of surgeries, surgery scheduling and further patient care

under 3-4 doctors. My knowledge of coding is used for insurance

verification and billing necessary to my primary function as a Treatment

Coordinator. Additional responsibilities include account maintenance,

collection on accounts, opening and/or closing of the daily office

production report, and any other tasks as assigned by my superior.

Accomplishments

Continuing to bring accuracy to the maintenance of patient care and their

accounts through 25 years of experience gained outside of their employ and

while upgrading changes in the functioning of the practice and development

of my skills continues today and within their employ.

Skills Used

Attention to detail, and the ability to deal with the diversified

personalities of my co-workers and our patients with a focus on their needs

in a professional manner. This position requires the strong ability to

function with little or no supervision. I am a highly skilled typist and

proficient in the use of many different software programs.

Reason for desire to change; Associated Oral Surgeons has been an

excellent employer. I have come to a point in my life where my desire is

to work part time, if possible, and my employer is unable to accommodate my

wishes. I will, however, consider changing my field of work in a full time

or part time position.

Note: In the mid to late 1980's and early 1990's, I was employed by Roger

Schlossberg Esq., Lisa Shank Poole Esq., and Dr. Thomas L. Goodin, OB GYN

before choosing to move to employment in Boonsboro, MD with Thompson Gas

and Electric. I remained with Thompson Gas and Electric for 6 years and

before securing the above position.
