WORK HISTORY

Responsibilities included: Making quality welds using FCAW welding fillet, 6GR,

partial penetration, full penetration and 100% with back gouging using either

carbon arc gouging or grind to sound metal. Making sure distortion, shrinkage

and expansion is minimal. Preheating with gas torches (rose buds) to specified

temperature according to the welding procedure specification (wps) checked by

using temperature actuated crayons (temp sticks). I was required to work at

heights over 200 ft, confined spaces, overtime and weekends. Basic shop

duties.

Welder/Fabricator Glenn’s Mobile Welding. 2010-2013

Responsibilities include: Fabrication of iron rod fencing, along with erection and

fabrication of structural steel. Also, I Mig weld all different kinds of fencing with

great results. Familiar with taking measurements in the field with finalizations

completed on the project.

Welder/Fabricator Berkey Welding 2006 – 2010

I was responsible for fabrication of all structural steel, welding and prep work for

the company and for all erections done as well as obtained measurements in the

field. I made headers and columns out of I beams, pipes, and welding nelson

studs. I also can make custom Simpson buckets, roof bents, pipe bollards and

equipment repairs. I was responsible for unloading and loading all steel, on and

off trucks with fork lift. I can weld together moment frames with no problem. I

made all base plates and I know how to operate a shear with punch. I can do the

same with any power tools. I know how to operate an oxy acetylene torch with

expert handling. I can also air arc anything that requires it.

Welder/Fabricator Ram Steel Job Part Time 2010

Duties included erections of structural steel for Wall Mart and Sams Club

contracts.

TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS

FCAW certifications 3G, 4G, 6GR, 2G 100% Fork Lift training, First Aid and a

minimum of 7 years experience doing structural Steel for custom built homes and

commercial buildings, rod iron fencing and various welding projects, and

equipment repair.
