Dealing with certificate requirement of the factory and implementation of procedure, target setting and analyzing for the company for vendor audits, Buyer audits, FSMS and ISO audits and BRC.

• New Project - Target given to increase the production quantity and set up production line without congestion, quality bottle necks and backflow, improve the Quality of the product yield and capacity for both fresh and frozen products, target within 6 months. Achieved three-fold production within 2 months and frozen Tuna steak production four-fold(Existing buyer USA). Standardized Production line, which is now smooth without any congestion. Currently the company is in number one position in Maldives.

• Processed Tuna Steaks and Seared Tuna Cooked For Jana Brands, USA. (New Product Development (NPD) for Frozen Tuna steaks for USA market)

• Responsibities include:-

Achieving the monthly targeted export for fresh and frozen products.

Production planning and assigning duty for the Online Quality controllers and supervisors.

Controlling the receiving quality of fresh whole tuna (CCP) and its utilization and maximizing yield.

Producing maximum quantity of finished products within the limits of food safety, EU and USFDA regulation Standards.

Plant Manager, Export Import Executive and Quality Assurance Manager

Company deals with shrimp processing, freezing and Export, Aquaculture of shrimps, Export of Coffee beans to USA, import of Milk powder from Denmark and food essence from Malta.

Import of aquaculture farm consumables from Thailand, China, Vietnam and Taiwan.(Feed,Utilities etc.)

Responsibilities assigned as Export and import documentation, marketing of Seafood and liaison with the costumer, Bank related; LC opening, Costing of seafood and farmed shrimp items etc.

• Revised HACCP for factory and assisted in implementing Shrimp Aquaculture National Residue Monitory Plan (NRMP) for the country Yemen and for the company. Made complete plan for monitor the different type of residue from Soil, Water, feeds and products for Heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Hg, As, Cr) residues of pesticides (Organochlorine, Organophoporous and Carbamates) and industrial pollutants such as PcBs, PcPs, PAHs. All results are analysed for compliance with the EU standards of Assisted FAO & UNDP Consultant for Ministry of Fish wealth, Republic of Yemen in developing a National Regulatory System incorporating EU/US/Codex and other regulations and guidelines for adoption by all seafood firms in Yemen. (June 2007).

• Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO),Maldives.(August 2004-August 2005)

Quality and Production in charge

The state held premier company in Maldives. Experienced in different aspects of tuna freezing. Brine factory freezing, onboard freezing and Quality control. Trained in Tuna canning company . Conducted training for the local fisherman on the quality awareness and importance in hygiene onboard and using ice (Sea water) to improve the seafood quality and safety of the seafood and histamine analysis. Documenting all EU related approval documents and calibration of the laboratory equipments used in the processing and lab analysis.

Senior Quality control inspector

Company is reputed seafood buying company buying all types of seafood export to EU countries.

Responsibilities included: - Sourcing, Price information, raw material availability information, Quality inspection of various seafood products export to EU countries (British Seafood, Vision Sea food, Seagull etc. were the UK based customers). Expertise includes conducting final product inspection and decision making regarding product suitability for export to major EU countries. Products included Shrimp (farm and Wild), Squid, Cuttlefish, octopus, Fishes. Wide exposure to variety of food safety aspects of marine products, processing techniques (IQF, Block freezing, cooked and blanched product).
