PROJECTS / SEMINAR

Wireless War Field Defense Robot

The objective of the project is to design defense robots as proxies to save the life of soldiers in the war

field by using AURDINO MEAG Controller. The robot consists of RF Transmitter and Receiver, to control the

information. The web cam used for imaging the war field, and the laser gun ejects laser rays towards the target.

The metal detector identifies the landmines underground and diffuses it. This robot helps to save the soldiers life

in war field.

Monitoring and Safety Interlocking of Boiler Feed Water Pump Using PLC

The project is to provide a safety interlocking for one of the boiler feed water pump established at FACT.

We developed interlocking software in PLC and installed it successfully. This program includes monitoring and

safety trip system of the boiler feed water pump to control temperature, optimum level, rate of flow and pressure

of water. The status of the pump is made available at the control room. In any unusual circumstances, the pump

is automatically dripped, avoiding damage and saving the entire investment.

Seminar on Measurement of Local Chest Wall Displacement by a Self Mixing Laser

Interferometer

The aim of this paper is to propose and evaluate a novel methodology for an accurate and contactless

measurement of local chest displacement. The proposed Laser Interferometer helps to accurately measure

displacements of the chest wall as small as 400 nm. The system validated both in vitro and vivo. It allows the

development of diagnostic tools for clinical evaluation of respiratory diseases.
