Objective:

I am looking for a position that will allow me to work set hours weekly, preferably around 20 hours a week.

A friendly environment and great coworkers are essential to prosper in any position.

I am very social and an honest, hard worker and I love to learn more and always advance in any job/career I have at the moment.

Highlights:

• Basic typing, computer, copying, scanning and word document knowledge (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

• I am able to translate from one language to the other (Spanish to English and vise versa).

Accomplishments:

I graduated high school receiving an award for having 3.0 GPA or higher my sophomore year and an award for completing 100

or more hours of community service throughout my junior and senior year of high school.

I was chosen to help paint the school mascot on our school banner for our senior class hung in the gymnasium.

Also, I was chosen to paint a mural in the guidance counselors office my senior year.

I enjoy volunteering and volunteered at an animal shelter my freshman year and tutored elementary school students the year after

for 2 summers in a row.

Experience:

Sales Associate -October 2011 to February 2012 at Build-a-bear Workshop - Independence, MO

Hired on as a seasonal associate and basically greeted customers and helped children build their own bears and dress them up

afterwards.

Impact/Associate -November 2011 to August 2012 at Hollister Co. - Independence, MO

Hired on as a part time sales associate. Helped customers find what they needed and restocked merchandise and

kept track of inventory to ensure the sales floor is fully stocked with the current styles and trends.

Sales associate -November 2011 to January 2012 at Bakers - Independence, MO

Hired on as a sales associate for the 3 short months the company was still open. They closed down on January 25th because the

company went bankrupt.

Third Key Holder -August 2013 to April 2014 at Claire's - Independence, MO

Hired on as a third key holder, a position directly above a sales associate.

This position pays more and gave me more responsibilities.

I was frequently left to manage the store alone on various occasions and close on my own.

I left to pursue other job opportunities closer to home.

Receptionist -December 2013 to April 2014 at Cable Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac - Independence, MO

Hired as a temporary receptionist. My job was to answer phones, file paperwork and direct calls and customers to the

employees and supervisors. Left to get a full time job to support me paying for college.

Cashier/Customer Service -August 21, 2014 to Febuary 18, 2015

Bed Bath and Beyond - Independence, MO. I left because I got hired at a company as a receptionist full time.

Receptionist -February 24, 2015 at Snowmen KC. I currently still working here but it is temporary.
