(Biotech startup housed in Techcolumbus. Focus is the production of Nanofiber scaffolds for tissue

engineering and research applications. First to produce an in man tissue engineered trachea while

collaborating with Harvard Bioreactor.)

Manufacturing, Research and development and marketing(Biomedical Engineer)

Held triple role. Manufactured custom orders and Medivet products such as unique nanofiber

product nanowhiskers and 6mm thick hyloid bone graft.

Collaborated on paper for publication on vascular conduits and nanofiber vascular grafts.

Tested mechanical properties of piezoelectric PVDF hernia mesh.

Led email marketing and social media marketing projects. Used JavaScript and HTML to create

emails and google scripts apps for better marketing efficiency.

Responsible for Cardiac Tissue Engineering project using PCL fibers. Ran own experiments under

direction of the Lab Supervisor.

Accomplishments and experiences:

Only Undergraduate on the team and presented findings to graduate student and postgrad teammates .

Designed and ran own experiments for the differentiation of adult stem cells into heart tissue for heart

repair.

Worked on tissue engineering project using mice bone marrow cells

Used flow cytometer to measure cells, used electron microscope to label and identify cells and grew

cells with specific growth factors. Produced Nanospun PCL scaffolds using electrospinning method.

Worked on separate project programming NETLOGO software to model natural phenomena.

Javabased modeling software based in Scala.
