• Developed and implemented the chemical audit and hazard ranking and recognition process that

resulted in the discovery and disposal of over 500,000 pounds of old, unstable, toxic, shock sensitive

chemicals.

• The chemical audit resulted in the creation of a chemical tracking and approval process that reduced

chemical waste and duplicate ordering by 70%.

• Developed and implemented the OSHA laboratory inspection/audit process for the Chemistry

Division that resulted in the one of the largest laboratory renovation/hazard mitigation project at the

St. Louis Site.

• The OSHA audit process created a system where employees at facilities are trained to identify

hazards, rank the hazard, implement corrective action and track and trend their results.

• Developed and implemented an environmental/contamination sampling protocol and training

program for employees who work with pesticides and fungicides.

• Serve as incident commander during site emergencies, coordinate e-squad actions, conduct hazardous

spill cleanup operations and coordinate responses with offsite emergency agencies

prior to application submittal to OSHA.

• Developed and implemented a Pre-OSHA VPP evaluation process that resulted in 5 sites, in 3

separate states, achieving OSHA VPP Star Status in less than 2 years.

• Created a partnership between OSHA and Local VPP and SHARP businesses to create the VPP and

SHARP Steering Committee.

department meeting all federal milestones and securing federal funding for FY 2008.
