Project Title:

"Measurement and control of solid level in process industries using

Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)".

Objective:

Objective of the project is to perform both Measurement and control

of solid level using PLC and to reduce the cost of the device.

Description:

The bulk solid level is measured by using Weight and cable method .

The PLC drive the weight and cable arrangement for Measurement of solid

level and also it control the level of the solid at Bins or silo's.

Technical Skills:

. PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), Programming languages such as LD

(Ladder Diagram).

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.

. Presented a paper at International level conference on the topic of

"MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL OF SOLID LEVEL IN PROCESS INDUSTRY USING PLC"

at Sethu Institute of Technology, Virudhunagar.

INPLANT Training:

. Undergone 5days in-plant training at "ST-CMS ELECTRIC

CO.PVT.LTD",Uthangal and learned about the method of power production

and instruments,calibrations and advanced controllers in the plant.

. Undergone 5days in-plant training at "MADRAS FERTILIZERS

LIMITED",Manali and learnt about manufacturing of fertilizers and also

the use of instrumentation in entire plant.
