• Opening of new markets for Chinese companies: Analyse and locate new markets; research market potential

and development; negotiate with Chinese manufacturers interested in commercial cooperation; discuss on

• Search and Development of New Products: Market capacity analysis of the possibilities the Peruvian energy

sector demands. In coordination with the technical department, analyse technological aspects of new products

and the regulatory impositions that exist (e.g. ISO and/or IEC compliance). Cost-benefit analysis. Supply

analysis: discuss with Asia partners new product possibilities and negotiate the financial support and strategy.

• Projects in RFP/RFQ/Public Tenders: Preparation and conditioning of technical and economical offers to

participate in business opportunities generated by these types of modalities (mainly by the Peruvian State

Utilities and Regional Governments). Knowledge of State Purchase Laws of Peru (Ley de Contrataciones del

Estado).

• Sales to contractors and public utilities: Create and maintain commercial relationships with clients.

Preparation and conditioning of technical and commercial proposals in accordance to customer expectations,

market demand and by-project requirement.

• Project Management: Manage operational aspects of particular projects, such as bids/tenders and day-to-day

sales of the products the company commercializes.

• International Trade (Logistics): Logistical organization when importing goods from overseas (mainly China).

Dealing with forwarder companies, customs agency, transport companies and warehouse services.

Coordinating with offices in Asia to assure the supplier has readied the export documentation appropriately.

• Homologation Procedures: Familiarity with homologation procedures related to Peruvian and international

Standards (NTP, ISO and IEC). Homologation process of Chinese energy meters and water meters with the

National Metrological Institute of Peru (SNM-INDECOPI).

• Quality Control & Metrologic Assurance Procedures: Familiarity with Quality Control Systems including

Metrologic Assurance Systems. Participation in Factory Acceptance Tests for approval of goods by Peruvian

utilities’ inspectors (taken place in China).
