> COST ANALYST; - CAMERON, INTERNATIONAL, Electra, TX. Concurrent

with my responsibilities as cost accountant, I also conducted

financial analysis/review of cost reduction projects, under the

overall leadership of the facility Black Belt. These were 6-Sigma

projects, specifically designed to reduce manufacturing cost, (both

direct & indirect) thereby lowering the standard cost of parts

and increasing margins. These initiatives included (but were not

limited to) increasing production throughput rates, thereby

lowering unit labor costs, consolidating labor operations,

organization of work centers/work station layouts, and other

initiatives. I was responsible for financial sign off review on all

projects.

"Regional Dental" is a dental & medical equipment supplier. The CFO

is responsible for all financial transactions and reporting

including generating financial statements, special presentations to

banks and financial institutions to secure external financing,

reconciling all accounts, as well as payroll processing, AR & AP

supervision. Position reports to company owner.

> DIVISION CONTROLLER; 02-04-2008 through 04-14-2009; TRANTER, INC.,

Wichita Falls, TX. Tranter is a leading manufacturer of industrial

heat exchangers with production facilities and sales offices around

the world. The company generates approximately $350 million

annually in sales.

Job Responsibilities: As Division controller, directed the

accounting and finance activities for the entire Western

Hemisphere, which included plants in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and

the United States. Also, heavily involved with review and analysis

of the manufacturing operations for all facilities with special

emphasis on cost accounting issues and cost saving initiatives.

Other job responsibilities included the management of, AR, AP,

fixed assets and account reconciliations. Generated annual division

budget as well as monthly forecasts. Also, responsible for

generating monthly financial statements and ensuring all operations

of the Western Hemisphere adhered to GAAP. Position reports to the

Vice President of Finance for Tranter International.

> ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR; 04-28-2003 through 02-01-2008; PPG

Industries, Wichita Falls, TX. PPG is the world's largest flat

glass manufacturer. Job Responsibilities: As accounting supervisor,

was responsible for all production reporting and Cost accounting

operations, such as the set-up of product costs and maintenance of

the entire standard cost system. Also, responsible for generating

financial analysis for upper management and, assisted in generation

of monthly financial statements. Responsible for GAAP compliance of

all accounting transactions. Position reports to Plant controller.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS ASSCOCIATED WITH WORK HISTORY;

* Appointed special Project accountant for $25 million Gas-Cryogenic

plant project while at CAMERON, international. Responsible for ALL

financial reporting and tracking of project which spanned, 2

manufacturing facilities at Cameron, dozens of subcontractors,

including international suppliers & coordination of activities with

numerous managers throughout Cameron. Equipment shipped to customer in

November, 2013.

* Developed Project Accounting system for analyzing actual margins on BTO

(Build-To-Order) projects versus estimated margins. Analysis was

incorporated as part of month end close reporting, while at Cameron,

International. Considered 'Best-Practice' method in Cameron's PCS

division.

* Appointed special systems analyst for assessing departmental reporting

needs and making recommendations to IT for design and implementation of

requested reports. This task was assigned in addition to normal duties

as cost accounting manager, based on knowledge and expertise with

applications software, while at Ameron, Inc. (1980 - 1989).

* Created entire accounting month end responsibility reporting system for

review by managers of other departments for the purposes of showing

expenses compared to budget and explaining variances, while at

Powerseal Pipeline Products, Inc.

(1989 - 1995).

* Assisted with the evaluation, design and implementation of 3rd party

freight payment system for entire flat-glass division, while at PPG.

* Analyzed existing travel expense reporting system, proposing the

Concur system which reduced accounting dept headcount and streamlined

processing of expense reports, while at Tranter, Inc.

* Analyzed existing freight payment and reporting system, introducing

and implementing

a turn-key freight systems process, (3rd party), which saved an estimated,

$250,000 per year while at Tranter.
