Professional Highlights:

Excellent skills in prescription dispensing, and verification in retail stores. Working at one of the most

busiest and high volume CVS stores in the Miami area, I quickly learned to verify and dispense

medications in an efficient and timely manner. I consulted with prescribers and patients with regards to

medication dosage, drug interactions, disease management and potential side effects of prescription and

OTC drugs. I am well experienced with retail setting and am able to work efficiently under stressful

situations.

Working at Walgreens Central Pharmacy Operations I learned to handle calls from prescribers and

patients in a quick manner, most of them in under a 2 minute timeframe. On average I handled

approximately 250 calls a day, consulting with hundreds of physicians and patients to fill prescriptions,

review side effects, discuss drug interactions and resolve insurance issues. I provided excellent customer

service to our patients and prescribers in different parts of Florida and various states including Arizona,

Nevada, Illinois, Indiana, New York and Texas. Servicing so many people from around the country

allowed me to sharpen my communication skills and provide top quality customer care.
