I am currently looking to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry or

warehouse. I have my T.W.I.C card and safety courses completed. I am certified to

operate the sit down forklift and the reach lift. I am open and willing to learn other

machinery as well. I hope that will good training and patience I can grow fast in both

fields.

SKILLS

My skills of expertise are in customer service and janitorial work. I have been working in both

fields for 13 years and would like to continue my skills offshore or in the warehouses. Most of

my customer service skills have been spent with Xerox as a Sprint representative and Home

Depot throughout the Houston region. While working for Sprint, I had to speak with customers

regarding all problems about their bill, phone, service plan they have or the ones we have to

offer, and network issue in the area discussed. Every customer we have contact with, we had

to resolve their issue/issues with 100% satisfaction in a timely manner. When I moved on from

the company I join the Home Depot Family to work with my hands and still provide customer

service. I would have to travel to 10 different Home Depots to make sure products were in

order in the millwork and roofing departments. Sometimes using the forklifts or reach trucks

we would have to pull down different products from the overhead racks and place them back

on top when we finished unloading and re wrapping the products. I would have to wipe down

beams, products, and organize products for the given week. Around the holiday seasons, our

team would have to build and setup prompts for the stores to feel more welcomed while

visiting for customers. As of right now, I’ve worked offshore for 1 year and love the experience

and the technology used. I would like to work and gain more knowledge about the different

jobs and tasks need to perform offshore duties either as a steward or deck hand. Working in

warehouses I would like to operate machinery to gain more knowledge on different positions

available and safety measures that are in place.
