(#1).I have worked in the capacity of Senior Instrument & Controls Technician,
Instrumentation General Foreman/ Foreman and Journeyman Instrument Fitter
(#2) .I have a great deal of Construction knowledge to offer any employer. Of course I can Read
and Interpret and Follow all types of drawings, ISO’s, P&ID’s, Location, Installation Details,
Manufacturer Specifications, Index’s, Electrical Diagrams, Schematics, and I also pay close
attention to the Scope of work as laid out for each project. And remain within that scope without
deviating from what is required, unless I am authorized to do so. I research and plan my work
carefully according to schedule, or as directed.
(#3).I can fabricate and install any type of Electrical Conduit, Cable Tray, E&I junction boxes
and Panels, Process & Control Piping, and Tubing, whether it needs to be bent, welded, or
threaded. This includes any tray, supports, instrument mounting stands, or structural steel. This
also includes Hydraulic and Pneumatic tubing and pipe.
(#4).I am an Instrument Technician; I have worked many Projects Calibrating, Function Testing,
Loop Checking, Troubleshooting, and Startup & Commissioning. I stay current on the latest
trends in Instrumentation & Process Controls, including Variable Frequency Controls. I am very
Knowledgeable about Programmable Logic Controls & DCS systems Any type of
instrumentation, 24v, 120v, 240v, (4-20ma), even 0-10VDC.
(#5).(General Foreman): (BE&K) I was responsible for 4-Foreman, and 4- 8 man crews, 36 total.
On a new recycle Pulp Mill as well as a major shutdown on the paper machine at the same plant.
The project came in on time and under budget.
(#6).I worked offshore for J Ray McDermott Inc. Hooking up Metering Stations on Offshore
Platforms, Laying Pipe Lines on Lay Barge #29, & #23, and Derrick Barge #21, and setting
equipment on Oil & Gas Rigs. I was with them for 3 years, and worked on several major
operations for Shell, Amoco, Cognac, Exxon, & BP Oil.
(#7).(Foreman): I ran the Instrumentation Testing Department on a job in Covington Va. For
(BE&K.) Where I was responsible for giving both, written, and hands on Instrument Fitter Tests
as a pre-employment requirement. I was Field Engineer on same project when I was not
Proctoring Tests.
(#8). (General Foreman): E&I, Instrument Technician, at Courtaulds Fiber, in Mobile, Alabama.
For Davis International Inc. I was responsible for: Bench Calibration, Field Installation,
PCL/DCS Loop Check, and Start up & Commissioning, at the new Tensile Fiber Project.
(#9).(General Foreman Instrumentation) for Davis International. Project was an Accidental
Explosion Rebuild at (SHELL NORCO REFINARY). After an accidental explosion, the refinery
operations needed the Damaged Furnace’s and L.P. Skid back in operation as quickly as possible.
I designed a, Very Large Bulkhead Panel capable of containing 72 pneumatic terminations. We
ordered Bundled Dacron with 17 multiple tubes. We then pulled 3200 ft. From control room to
Field panel and replaced 55 Thousand feet of pneumatic control tubing, (That’s 11 miles in six
weeks)! The Furnace and Plant was back in operation 4 weeks ahead of the anticipated schedule.

Stanley, N.D., Manitou Station, Vanhook Station, and Whiting Station

Reason for leaving: My wife developed stage 4 cancer and became critically ill! She went into
a coma and I was not able to take care of her and continue to be an effective employee for
Plains. I was forced to quit and take her home to Pensacola, Florida. She has since fully
recovered and is cancer free. She is a 100% Disabled Veteran and will remain home with
family from now on and I am fully able to return to work without any future worries of Her
welfare.
