GE Power & Water Distributed Power (Houston USA) June 2012 – till now

Program Manager – Implementations of SCM, Manufacturing and Shop Floor Modules.

Scope: GE P&W Distributed Power is leading manufacturer of gas turbines. The manufacturing

units are spread across the USA, Europe and Brazil. GE DP recently acquired four new

companies GE Aero Brazil, Waukesha Gas Engine USA, Jenbacher Gas Engine Austria and Avio

Aero Italy. Company is also planning to upgrade EBS suite from 11i to R12 and merge all above

companies into one EBS instance.

Responsibilities:

SCM/Manufacturing Functional Consultant

• Primarily responsible for implementation of multiple projects in SCM, Manufacturing

production support to all service centers based at US, Netherland and Norway.

Responsibilities:

• Provided L1 to L3 levels production support (24X7) of Oracle Work in Process and Shop

Floor Management to all GE DP service centers across the globe

• Provided Configuration Management and Root Cause Analysis of Shop Floor

Management applications.

• Implemented short term fix and long term solutions on service center issues across the

Scope: GE Infrastructures has acquired Kelman Ltd. The company is a leading provider of

advanced monitoring and diagnostics technologies for transformers. Kelman Ltd was working on

customized ERP system. After merger GE implemented Oracle Applications 11i to replace the

legacy system.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily worked as Technical Team Lead to convert the Kelman Legacy data into Oracle

Application seeded tables. Converts the data for Inventory, BOM, Engineering and Work

Orders, PO and OM data.

• Responsible for the design and development of APIs and open interfaces.

• Involved in the data mapping from Legacy to Oracle Apps.

• Loaded data into staging interfaces by creating loader scripts, creating utl files to transfer

the data to other servers.

• Created custom interfaces by using PL/SQL procedures to validate the data to send it to

and water companies. Global GL is a customized GL module using Oracle financial frame work

and Data structure.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible to develop the customized general ledger module using pl/sql

procedures form GE Global Services.

• Responsible for creating Interfaces to transfer the data from 50+ sub-ledgers.

• Created of Back bridge Application using UTL files and shell scripts.

• Data migration using SQL Loader and Export-Import utilities.

• Developed the four core procedures to map, validate, clean and purge the data into GL seeded

tables.

• During the project, developed five forms and seven reports using oracle developer 6i.
