With twenty five years of experience trading commodity futures and options in financial, equity and

agricultural products I am able to bring a real world proficiency to this position. I have knowledge of

EXPERIENCE

Corn and Soybean options trader, Chicago Mercantile Exchange 1993-present

Trade and manage a small team of traders on a daily basis. I execute options trades both on the

exchange floor and through computer based models as a market maker. Maintain relationships with

brokers of both retail and commercial accounts. Manage risk during continuously changing

scenarios. Responsible for the success and profitability of the trading group.

AMI Trading, Chicago Mercantile Exchange 1988-1993

AMI was a commodity trading group of 30 year bond futures and options, 10 and 5 year treasury

note futures and options as well as municipal bonds. Responsibilities included the analysis of

several traders positions providing them with constant portfolio updates. Worked in small teams

determined by products traded and reported to management for overall firm risk as well as profit/

loss strategy on a daily basis. I was promoted to a trading position and was given the opportunity to

trade all of the firms products.

Collin Commodities, Chicago Mercantile Exchange 1985-1988

Maintained a relationship with clients of the firm who traded a variety of commodity products.

Relayed information of events both technical and macro that influenced the markets. Maintained

technical charts of multiple commodities and contacted a variety of brokers in those markets to

discuss trends in spreads and commercial activity. Oversaw the compliance and reconciliation of

order execution.

SKILLS

Having worked my entire career in the fast paced world of commodity trading I have a unique

ability to understand complex situations under stressful conditions. With practical experience

working from the back office to the trading floor as a market maker I am aware of all the

components that are required in commodity/derivatives trading. I have had success both teaching

and training others to trade for their own accounts or move on to other firms with a solid back-

ground in options theory and practice.
