Most recently Mike has been an Account Executive for HP Enterprise

Services (HP ES). In this role Mike has had responsibility for a P&L in

excess of $130M, and was responsible for delivery and growth activities in

the Southeast US for HP ES. Most recently Mike has been focused on

growing new business in the Southeast Region.

Prior to this, Mike was Vice President of Professional Services for Israeli

owned telecommunications company, Leadcom; establishing their North

American business (and some South American growth) from ground zero

to being on track to generate $6M in the first full year of operations. Mike

has also held key technology and product strategy roles in small and large

Hired to establish USA based operations to bring Leadcom’s success in other regions of the world to North America. I was

responsible for strategy development including acquisition strategy and development of the local team to support organic growth. I

was directly responsible for the full operations of the North American division including P&L and sales targets.

After beginning operations with first contract in late 2008, Leadcom North America was on track to meet $6M+ in revenue in 2009.

However, due to losses globally, Leadcom chose to exit the North American market.

Chief Technology Officer / VP Product Development

Responsible for all technology decisions and strategy of product and partner selection. Joined the company as the second employee

driving the development of the product and support infrastructure to launching initial 300 retail locations and eCommerce sales.

Lead design and development of all business support and e-commerce applications. When XE Mobile terminated the product was

being distributed in over 5000 retail locations, and supported over 20,000 subscribers.

Define and oversee development of support infrastructure including logistics, and finance systems.

Evaluate and select technology partners including infrastructure, and product offerings including eCommerce offerings, and

mobile data applications.

Represent XE product and technology in investor presentations, and due diligence efforts to support continued venture

capital investments in XE Mobile.

Contract negotiation and financial analysis of partnership opportunities.

Manage customer service partner, and ensure customer satisfaction as a key differentiator for XE Mobile.

Manage relationship with mobile operator to ensure smooth integration with their network

Responsible for driving cohesive development strategy for the development of technology platforms support Nextel’s Wireless Data

Services. Platforms included Mobile Access Gateway, Multi-media Messaging, aGPS/Location Based Services, and the iDEN

Packet Data Network infrastructure.

Drive market analysis to evaluate and develop strategies for evolution of platform capabilities to support scaleable, stable,

and differentiated wireless data products.

Drive development of cohesive architecture strategy as a “lens” through which future Nextel wireless development projects

would be evaluated for strategic technical fit.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate licensing and support terms.

Business case development for platform evolution on new features. (Mapping, Geo-fencing, service delivery enhancements

to support new business models)

Wireless Data Solutions utilizing these platforms drive in excess of $600M annually in revenue to Nextel.

Formation and leadership of a cross-functional, corporate Platform Coordination Council to ensure cross functional alignment

Created a product strategy and associated marketing efforts to drive custom solutions development on Nextel’s Wireless Data

Lead position in defining (and managing) relationships with key system integrators and wireless enablement companies.

HealthExchange.com was an Internet start-up in the healthcare portal market. HealthExchange.com had a unique vision of

integrating the various players of the healthcare industry while allowing the consumer to control and monetize their personal

information. As the fourth employee (first non-founder) of HealthExchange.com I was responsible for the creation and

implementation of all technical aspects of the business. Largely because of the technology implementation and vision,

HealthExchange.com was purchased by a public company in April 2000.

BELLSOUTH.NET 1998 - 1999

DIRECTOR OF ARCHITECTURE

Responsible for management of a team of top Java/Object developers. This team defined the architecture and directed the

development teams in the development of BellSouth’s online customer care systems.

Key member of senior management team that developed not only internal BellSouth business, but also outside clients

including the Summit of the Americas 1998, and Just for Feet.

Represented BellSouth.net on a Bellsouth corporate architecture committee to define and oversee all technology efforts

across the corporation. Projects included a corporate wide LDAP meta-directory, and employee digital certificates.
