Pyromaitre, QC

Apply design of experiments to find the main effects and interaction

effects on the stress relieving process of springs where temperature,

holding time and the spring index are the factors.

Project title - Optimizing the Production and Transportation cost of

Plastic bag Manufacturing Company

The main objective of this project was to increase the revenue of the

Plastic bag manufacturing company by using Optimization techniques. The

Linear Programming mathematical models were developed and then implemented

in CPLEX solver to get the Optimized schedule for Production and

Transportation in a company.

Project title - Analysis and improvement of Inventory control polices in a

Retail store

Analysis the inventory polices in a retail store and developed a joint

replenishment polices for set of products based on ABC classification and

segregated those products based on their inventory value and demand. And

then a mathematical model was also developed and implemented in CPLEX solve

to obtain shelf space allocation of products in a store.

Project title - Quality control improvement in Automobile manufacturing

company

The main idea was to implement the DMAIC methodology in automobile parts

manufacturing company to analysis the causes for defective parts. Using

statistical process control and Measurement system analysis method we

suggested corrective and preventive actions for quality improvement in

product and process level.
