The combusting behavior of Turkish lignite sand biomass is investigated to produce design data for

pilot scale boiler systems. The emissions from CFB combustion system measured and the reactivity

of various limestone to be used to reduce SO2 emissions and the optimum Ca/S ratio is determined.
