Project: FordDirect Shopping Tools

FordDirect’s digital “Shopping Tools,” is a suite of products that enable vehicle shoppers to build, price, compare and view

inventory of Ford and Lincoln vehicles online. The primary business objective is to drive sales to dealerships through a Digital

Marketing Platform.

Provided leadership to a global multi-faceted collaborative project team for feature and maintenance support on a

$2.5M/year account. Engaged in strategic product support and client relations onsite, while managing an offshore

India-based development team.

Delivered a next-generation, SEO-optimized, high-performance Ford Inventory tool in Sep 2012 with enhanced search

capabilities and rich site content.

Delivered two complex products in 2012/2013 within a short span of 6 months - Inventory tool for Mobile devices,

transitioned from an external agency and Vehicle Comparison tool, built from scratch.

Spearheaded the extension of US Inventory tool to Canada with a carefully-managed budget and unique Canadian

marketing rules. The launch completed with no outstanding critical issues and was declared a success by clients.

Instrumental in driving effective utilization of web-based analytics tools and setting up an A/B testing platform. Key

insights from analytics reporting helped in generating laser-focused site improvement suggestions that saw a 14%

jump in lead conversion with the very first feature.

Engaged with technical leads and project managers to optimize the vehicle launch process, resulting in lower upfront

setup costs and reduced brand maintenance by 28%.

Project: FordDirect DealerSites .

Forddirect’s DealerSites is a platform that provides dealers with a website powered with e-tools; giving superior quality

internet referrals and help dealerships maximize their online presence.

In addition to current responsibilities, took over the Ford DealerSites project in Jan 2012 from a colleague going on a

3-month leave. Hit the ground running, with 1 week for ramp-up.

Extraordinary leadership and dedication led to success in launching a $100,000 Site Refresh feature within 2 months.

Project: FordDirect Shopping Tools
