Project Description
This tool is an aggregate of three independent modules; Hunter, Harvester and Feeder . These
modules are meant to be deployed at various points on Manpower's system (in-country & Global).
REMANT's modular structure allows the individual components to be employed as standalone
tools. REMANT's primary objective is to build a complete database of resumes on Direct Talent
gathered from Manpower's in-country users' systems.
Hunter
Hunter has been designed to identify resumes/CVs on Manpower in-country user systems. By using
a pattern matching algorithm and tabular comparison, documents are identified and shifted to a
predefined location. The system is designed to identify false positives so that even if a non- resume
is labeled as a resume, a genuine resume/CV is not omitted. Hunter's design relies actively on
pattern matching to logically identify sections of a document containing information that is specific
to a resume/CV. It then cross checks it using comparison with predefined tables to identify the
selection as a positive match.
Harvester
Harvester works on a parsing algorithm that identifies keywords and a unique element identification
algorithm that associates particular values to specific heads. The resume/CV is divided into sections
and the density of the data on sections is matched again for patterns. Once recognizable patterns are
identified, keyword and unique element search is initiated within those areas to extract information.
Feeder:
Feeder will be a web based automation tool that will simulate the upload process in Direct Talent
and upload the sample resume/CVs over the Internet/WAN from the client's in country systems.
Responsibilities: Development and Unit testing.
Project Title 3 :- Credit Risk Expose System Tracking – (CREST)

Project Description
System was developed to address the loan application process existing within the client’s banking
operations. Both corporate and individual customer’s loan applications are processed using the
system and runs on a series of checks and stops maintained as part of Bank and RBI policies. The
cross section of usage is pan India. Integration with core banking system is in place for real time
operations.
Ing Vysya is looking at centralizing the Credit Application flow and automating the flow
process. Also the proposed functional specification defines the flow from capturing of cold calls till
the limit disbursement start. The Crest approval process will have three main stages:
1. Pre-Approval Stage: Capturing of Efforts taken by the RM/BM in identifying prospective
clients and the respective follow-ups done. The second benefit of this exercise would be assessing
the BM/ RM performance through reports.
2. Approval Stage: Creation of Crest ID after the client details is submitted. The Application
flow is decided based on the nature of the loan provided by the BM/RM. Recommendation,
Approval or Rejection is made as the case may be at various levels (Branch, SRO, RO, CO).
3. Post Approval Stage: After the CAL is signed by the Customer, additional details of the
customer are captured for creating loan account in the Profile which is initiated by this application.
All the documents are collected and sent to CAPU for further verification which is done offline.
CAPU after verification releases the limit to the customer which is updated in the profile through
this system. The following are some of major features that will be built into the Crest system
1. Record of all the activity (calls and client visits) performed by BM/RM in deciding a
prospective customer.
2. Creation of CREST Application and automating of application flow for recommendation
or approval of application at various levels.
3. Mailing module for sending mails to various authorities being notification of the
application arrival.
4. Creation customer and Loan accounts in profile for new customer and new accounts.
Releasing of limit to the customer by CAPU which is again updated in the profile.
Responsibilities: Design, Development and Unit testing.

Project Title 5 :- Profile For Linux (Customized OS)
Duration : 8 Months
Client Name : Ing Vysya
Operating Systems :Linux
Team Size :2
Designation :Team Lead
Project Description
The client was planning to use a Linux based device for eLearning targeted at rural India. The Linux
kernel had to be optimized, for fast boot time, operation speed and low power consumption. At
ZeroOne, we removed all the unnecessary services and components and did a custom Linux build.
The boot time was reduced by allowing only minimum services to run during boot time; other
services were made to start in parallel in the background. During run-time, no additional services ran
and those that were unused for a certain time would switch to sleep mode. This helped reduce the
power consumption. For accessories, which did not have native support, an infrared remote for
example, custom drivers were developed.
Responsibilities: Part of Requirement Analysis and Customized the OS .
