Return to “A” Stock (R2A) is an existing process to identify returned parts eligible for “Return to A stock”

process. All such identified parts would be shipped from C3 depots to manufacturing depots from where

they can be reshipped to customers as new units. With Return to A Stock, the returned part is re-shipped

as a new product through QTC. It is not being shipped as an RMA replacement through C3/SVO. As Part

of R2A Phase B project TAN and LPN are two optional fields which can be sent through 3B13

transaction.B2B Export Doc (3b18) generation is an existing process which collects and transmits data to

CICE to facilitate generation of trade compliance documentation that is required to clear customs at

export and import. Business requirement is to enhance this export document generation by including DEX

Warranty status and DEX Repair Value. Additionally the requirement is to group the line based on product

id, country of origin, DEX warranty status, and repair valuation on the 3B18 B2B message for both SORO

orders as well as repair allocation orders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed and mapped Business Requirements to the Technical Use Cases for R2A TAN and LPN

changes.

• Wrote function specification document for R2A phase B project.

• Performed in-depth GAP Analysis on the requirements, identified the gaps.

The current online Case opening tool (TSRT) has technical and operational issues that have led to a

decline in its use by Customers with a matching increase in reliance on CIN. Furthermore, TSRT does

not allow for a differentiated Customer experience based on Outcome, nor for a personalized experience

based on the Corporate and personal preferences of those using it.

The new Support Case Management or Smart Assisted Service Initiation tool (SASI) overcomes the

deficiencies of TSRT that have led to a decline of Customer Satisfaction with it, while providing increased

precision of Case routing, and support for evolving Service Delivery concepts designed to enable new

business adjacencies and GTC transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Have lead a team of 5 software engineers from offshore and onshore for the period of 2yrs for

SCM(previously called as SASI)development from Scratch.

• Actively worked with Business User’s, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Capturing functional

The project California Service Supply Chain planning in large part will be derived from the next business

day base warranty level of service offered to customers.

Presently there is no support for warranty/Install Base proactive spare planning for the SSC depots. Only

Service Agreement data is fed into the SSC product planning applications. California is the first product

family to offer a NBD advanced replacement warranty term requiring such proactive sparing. The current

proposal put forth by the October 29th California warranty data workshop was to prioritize the

development of a warranty contract data flow into SSC and other Technical Services systems and tools to

permit them to entitle, plan, and otherwise act on delivering support to the California NBD warranty terms.

Cisco Service Parts Planning currently uses two BOLT-ON COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf)

applications (third party) to implement the planning strategy. These are Service Parts Optimizer (SPO)

application from MCA Solutions and Xelus Parts application from Click Commerce, Inc. SPO is used for

generating the Target Stocking Levels (TSLs) for all spare parts at all potential stocking locations

throughout a global service supply chain network. These are fed into Xelus Parts for performing several

functions such as time-phased demand, returns forecasting, new by and repair planning, depot

replenishment, and inventory rebalancing with transships and excess recalls. Single Planning tool

involves integrating the Optimization application (SPO) with the Xelus Plan application and will be called

as XelusParts MIO (multi-item optimization).
