compensation an agent will receive based on some type of payment the policyholder has made,
contract of the agent and the Schedule of Payments. There are different areas which include
Auto, Fire, Life, Health, PBP, Bank, Mutual Funds, and Rain Hail in which development and
enhancement work is done.

The Internet and Financial Services handles the Support of LAIC website. We provide
Third Level Technical Support for any problem faced by LAIC Customer. We mainly handle
the Registration of LAIC Customer and policy Enablement and provide support for the same.
All customers’ problems related to Policy View or any enablement issues are handled by us. We
have our Internal Tools like ICSS, ABS, Enable corr and Customer Search for verifying
customer’s data and provide support at the earliest to maintain good customer relationship. All
the Service Tickets or Customer Calls are reported to us through HP Service Desk Tickets. We
handle these tickets and provide good service at the earliest.

Customers of LAIC can register with their Policies on Client Website to view those
policies online. Customers of LAIC have policies in various regions of U.S. Once customer
registers online in one region of U.S with policy, Policies of only that region used to enable
online. For other regions policies he had to request again.
This project minimized customer’s effort by enabling policies (excluding Bank account,
MF) of all regions. So once customer registers online with one region, he/she can view policies
of other regions also. In case of error, that record is sent through e-mail and is handled
manually.

Health and Human Services (HHS) has adopted a new version (5010) of the HIPAA Electronic
Transaction Standards. Health Claims, as a covered entity under the HIPAA legislation, currently
supports eight of these transactions. Health Claims will need to make significant changes to comply
with the 5010 version. Under this project, coded an online ELECTRONIC BILL PAPERWORK screen.
Also coded many IMS screens.
