Work Experience
Arthur’s Family Dining, September 2006 - 2008
Waitress and hostess: In these positions I had to prepare tables for customers, make seating arrangements, take orders, and deliver food. At peak times when the restaurant was busy, I had to manage multiple tables at once. This provided me the opportunity to learn how to prioritize and manage my time very efficiently. Customer service was very important in these roles also to ensure customer satisfaction.
Meijer, February 2009 - January 2013
Cashier: As a cashier I developed an excellent working relationship with the public. Customer satisfaction was a daily goal of mine so when a customer was upset or emotional, I was swift to resolve any issues to the best of my ability in a professional manner. Due to busy seasons and peak hours, efficiency and monetary accuracy was a key component which I accomplished it on a daily basis.
Title Source, January 2013 to February 2014
Titled auditor: Initially, I was taught to audit simple client files, but due to my impeccable work and fast learning, I was later asked to utilize my abilities with more complex files through the lender client. I audited the entire loan package which contains critical documents such as the mortgage, the note, right to cancel, signature name affidavit, 1003, 4506-t, truth-in-lending, and all other non-critical paperwork involved. I’m also trained in the process that goes beyond auditing which called disbursement delay. When a file is delayed, I would research the issue and take action to complete it in a timely manner. After calling the borrower, notary, or the bank, and I would collect the information needed and complete the files so it is disbursed on time. I’m also trained in the process that comes before auditing which is stacking / stripping. When the files come in from UPS, I had to open the packages, compile the paperwork in the correct order, remove unnecessary paperwork, and record any checks included. Through learning these processes, my problem solving skills are excellent along with the great customer service I displayed to all I spoke with.
As an auditor, I handled large amounts of sensitive information at once for multiple people. In doing so, it taught me how to stay organized and focused on the task at hand.
