MEMPHIS LIGHT GAS & WATER: June 1996 - March 1998 (Work from India)

• Conversion of raw data (Aerial photography) into the vector format using Microstation tools.

• The first phase involved scrubbing customer provided data with their adjacent maps. Then coding it with electrical information such as Phase Rating, Voltage information, Conductor Size and Specification in between each pole, device, transformer size, etc. After completing the coding procedure, the data is entered in data entry software followed by pole placing and facility management.

• The customized tool was developed under MDL (Microstation Developing Language) and Oracle Programming language.

Role: Technical support to clarify the placement.

Raster files with respective designation given by the Customer.

Quality control/assurance by reviewing the visual QC & Quality Routines.

Software: Microstation/IRASB.
