I learned to sew in a production setting, was trained on industrial straight stitch as well as hemming

entailed assisting in getting the dress on, zipped, laced & ‘clamped’ as needed to achieve proper fit. This
was to be a 2 week job – due to wild success the owners decided to keep the doors open another 5

performed basic maintenance on the sewing machines, such as oiling & any tension adjustments needed.
