CNC Machinist, July 2014 – September 2014

Operation of Brother CNC boring units and Okuma CNC mill and tap units. Set up inserts, drills, taps and

programing to produce air motors and vacuum pumps. Establish and maintain tolerances of +/- two to five

10,000 of an inch. Ensure parts meet customer specifications per blueprints. Ensure high quality control

levels through the use of various Starrett micrometers, table gauges and calipers. Maintain daily

production records and tally waste parts. This was a temporary assignment to replace a machinist on

medical leave.

Chassix Inc., Benton Harbor, Michigan

Die Casting Technician, October 2013 to January 2014

Operation of CNC die casting cell using Bradley- Allen computer control unit. Responsible for casting

pot exchanges, mold lubrication and adjustments to produce automotive suspension parts. Assist with

mold change overs. Inspect and shift stamp each production part. Maintain daily production and scrap

records.

Operation of CNC roll mills to fabricate automotive glass channels and related production parts.

Experience with CNC multiple robotic production systems for metal welding and milling. Later promoted

to Quality Control Tech. position responsible for testing and inspection of production parts to ensure

compliance with customer requirements. Use of hand scanners to scan and label parts for shipping.

Check-in and inventory control of raw steel used in production processes.
