AT CHENNAI PORT TRUST

PROJECT TITLE : FUEL LEAK OFF ALARM

DURATION : ONE MONTH (10.02.2014 – 07.03.2014)

DESCRIPTION : The fuel line to engine is redesigned by a double walled structure. So that if

there is a leak, it gets collected in the second wall which in turn collected in a chamber. The chamber

consists of an alarm for notification.

PROJECT TITLE AIR LUBRICATION SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION : The project is done in an intention to reduce the frictional resistance caused by

the water to the hull. In this project numerous pores are designed in which air bubbles are created by

blower, which in turn gives the vessel extra velocity to move ahead reducing the resistance.
